Traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), including concussions and other forms of acquired brain injury, can significantly impact visual function, leading to symptoms such as blurred vision, double vision, eye strain, headaches, difficulty reading, light sensitivity, balance problems, and challenges with concentration.
We can assess eye movement control, focusing ability, eye teaming, visual processing, and visual-vestibular integration. Individualized treatment plans may include therapeutic lenses, prisms, vision therapy, and rehabilitation strategies designed to improve visual comfort, enhance daily functioning, and support recovery.
Our goal is to help patients regain the visual skills necessary for work, school, driving, and everyday activities while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals involved in the rehabilitation process.
